HTC Desire U launches with 4 inch display

The Taiwanese famous smart phone manufacturer HTC has recently announced an awesome Android handset for middle class customers named HTC Desire U.

The smart phone launches with 4 inches TFT LCD capacitive touch display with a decent ppi (pixels per inch) density. HTC desire U also enables 800 x 480 pixels display resolution which is comparatively good. The handset has 9.32mm thick and 119g weight. Desire U runs Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich operating system with HTC Sense UI atop which is the popular feature of the smart phone.

HTC Desire U is powered by 1GHz single core processor with inbuilt graphic acceleration. The smart phone also provides 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage memory. There is memory card slot on the side panel for expanding its memory up to 32 GB via micro SD cards. The handset carries a 5 mega pixels rear digital shooter with auto focus, digital zoom and LED flash. Geo tagging – face detection features also available. There is no front facing camera. HTC Desire U carries a standard 1,650mAh Li-Ion battery which provides sufficient talk time and standby time.

An attractive micro-drilled cover art has enabled on the rear panel. The HTC logo is decorated in the center. It features Beats Audio integration. Advanced connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with aptX, USB and GPS are available. HTC Desire U will be available in black and white. There is no information about the price tag of the product in India. The smart phone is expected to retail for 7990 New Taiwan Dollar (about $274).
