Micromax newly introduced an entry level smart phone with Google Android connectivity named Bolt A51. The smart phone is now available on the popular online retailer outlets such as Flipkart.com, saholic.com and snapdeal.com. In India, the Micromax Bolt A51 is for Rs. 4,599.
The nominal cell phone is powered by 832MHz Broadcom single-core processor with built in graphic acceleration. Bolt A51 comes with a brilliant 3.5-inch HVGA display, 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage memory. There is also a micro SD card slot on the device for expanding its memory up to 32GB via micro SD cards. The platform Android 2.3.7 (Gingerbread) is dated and it disappointed. The smart phone carries two digital shooters on the rear and front panels. The main camera on the rear enables 2-mega pixels digital quality and the front camera enables 0.3-megapixel.
Micromax Bolt A51 carries a standard 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery which provides 4.5 hours of talk time and 140 hours of standby time. The entry level smart phone also provides advanced connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPRS. Micromax Bolt A51 comes with pre-loaded applications such as MiStore and MiBuddy, the popular Micromax pre-loaded applications are available.
Earlier, the Company launched an entry level smart phone named Micromax Bolt A35 which included in the same category for Rs. 4,250. The Bolt A35 is powered by a single core 1GHz processor. It runs Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) Operating System and carries dual digital cameras on the rear and front panels. 10.1cm capacitive TFT LCD touch screen, 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery and 4.5 hours talk time are the main attractions of the handset.
